Football Death: First Reseda, then Coronado High School. . . . The San Diego-area campus was numb Monday after word spread that football player Adrian Taufaasau had died following a game in Orange County (C1). The senior quarterback was injured on a play “like a thousand others played every weekend,” said a school official. He did not regain consciousness and died Sunday, only a day after the funeral for Reseda High running back Eric Hoggatt, who was found dead the morning after his Sept. 12 game in the Valley.
