Applicants Sought for Commission Vacancies
Applicants are being sought to serve on several city advisory committees and commissions.
By the end of December, there will be 31 vacancies on 11 boards that advise the City Council.
The open seats include one on the Airport Noise and Safety Committee; two on the Airport Users Task Force; one on the Bicycle Users Sub-Committee; three on the Community Services Commission; eight on the Energy and Resource Management Committee; two on the Library Board of Trustees.
Also, there are two seats on the Planning Commission; four on the Transportation and Circulation Commission; five on the Central Fullerton Redevelopment Project Area Committee; two on the Redevelopment Design Review Committee and one on the Affordable Housing Review Committee.
Applications, which are due by Oct. 31, are available at City Hall, 303 W. Commonwealth Ave. The City Council will announce its appointments at a public meeting after applications are reviewed.
