Pet Food Firm Signs New Spokes-Canine

A Cheektowaga, N.Y., pooch’s uncanny ability to speak the word “pasta” on command has earned it recognition in a national pet food manufacturer’s contest.
Melbourne, an Australian shepherd mix, beat out more than 150 competitors to win the competition sponsored by Thompson’s Pasta Plus Pet Foods. The talking canine will be featured in the company’s advertisements.
