Today’s Art Auction to Benefit Schools
A silent auction today will raise funds for the Fullerton School District’s arts program.
Among artists who donated works is the renowned Christo, who gave posters of some of his projects. More than 100 other artists are participating.
Proceeds from the sale, sponsored by the district’s Foundation for the Arts, will help pay for the education program “All the Arts for All the Kids.” It provides lessons in art, music, dance and drama to nearly 9,000 elementary schoolchildren annually.
Cost to attend the auction, at 5 p.m. at the Sarah Bain Gallery, 214 N. Harbor Blvd., is $15.
