San Clemente’s Moysa Wins Heat
HUNTINGTON BEACH —
Geoff Moysa of San Clemente turned in the top performance for the United States Sunday at the World Surfing Games off Huntington Beach Pier.
Moysa, competing in the longboard division, won his heat with a score of 24.61 out of 30. His best wave score was 9.67.
Competition continues at 8 a.m. today in junior surfing, men’s bodyboarding, longboarding, women’s surfing, women’s bodyboarding and knee boarding.
