Deadlines Nearing for Overseas Christmas Mail

Deadlines are approaching for people who want to mail holiday cards, letters and gifts overseas, the Postal Service said.

The deadline for airmail packages, cards and letters is Dec. 9 for most countries, but well-wishers may also use international express mail for last-minute mailings.

To send holiday items to people in the military, the deadline is Nov. 1 for less expensive surface rates and Dec. 2 for airmail service.
