Cal Lutheran Recognized for Computer Use

Cal Lutheran University has received the CAUSE Award for Excellence in Campus Networking. The award, started in 1993 by the Boulder, Colo.-based CAUSE organization, is designed to promote planning, management and use of campuswide computer networks.
Cal Lutheran won in the category of institutions with an operating budget of less than $100 million.
Cal Lutheran was chosen “based on its leadership role in network development and management among higher education institutions and for its dedication to encouraging use of the network for teaching, learning, research, administration and community service.” Formal recognition for the award will be given at the CAUSE annual conference in December.
CAUSE is an association of higher education institutions with members worldwide.
