Biopsys Medical Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of products for the diagnosis and management of breast cancer said it lost $138,000, or 1 cent a share, for the fiscal first quarter ended Sept. 30, compared with a net loss of $616,000, or 8 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Sales rose to $2.4 million from $224,000.
