Vigil Set in Memory of Stabbing Victim

Share

A candlelight vigil will be held Monday in memory of 32-year-old Lisa Ellsworth, an Aliso Viejo resident who died Oct. 12.

Ellsworth was apparently stabbed to death by her estranged husband, 34-year-old Mark Sliger, who then took his own life with a knife, officials said. The couple had been separated, officials said.

The vigil, being held by Ellsworth’s family and friends, will be at 8 p.m. at Main Beach, Broadway and Pacific Coast Highway.

A trust has been set up for Ellsworth’s two children, 7-year-old Tristan and 4-year-old Kirsten.

Donations may be sent to The Trust of Tristan and Kirsten Ellsworth, in care of Gary Heesch, 1614 E. 5600 South, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84121. Heesch is the children’s grandfather. Information: (714) 721-7555.
