Police raided a residence in west Oxnard suspected of being a haven for drug dealers and arrested five people, three of whom had shown up during the bust apparently to purchase contraband, authorities said.

Officers and narcotics detectives from the Oxnard, Port Hueneme and Ventura police departments served a search warrant at the residence in the 3200 block of Net Place about 5 p.m. Friday after receiving a tip that drugs were being sold there.

Officers found about a one-quarter ounce of methamphetamine, smaller amounts of cocaine and marijuana, packaging materials and other evidence of drug trafficking, authorities said.
