Cirque de Soleil Stakes Out the Fairgrounds

Cirque du Soleil, which has performed at the South Coast Plaza mall biannually since 1991, will move its tent to the Orange County Fairgrounds for performances starting Jan. 31 and running through March 2. The move was prompted by the mall’s inability to commit the huge chunk of parking lot space that the circus needs for its tents and trailers.
Cirque du Soleil (“the circus of the sun”) had performed three times at the mall. Call (800) 678-5440 for ticket information.
