5 Suspects Sought in Fatal Shooting

MISSION HILLS — Police were seeking as many as five suspected gang members Saturday for their alleged role in the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old Mission Hills man.
Andre Sales died Friday night after being shot in the 14900 block of Simonds Street, said Los Angeles Police Det. Frank Bishop.
No gun has been recovered, and no suspects have been questioned, he said.
“Gang members went up to a house looking for somebody,” Bishop said. “A fight started at the front door and spilled out into the street.”
Sales was shot an undetermined number of times in the upper body, Bishop said. Witnesses drove him to a nearby hospital.
