Reynolds Named a Senior Vice President at PairGain

* Thomas P. Reynolds has been named senior vice president, sales and customer service for PairGain Technologies Inc. in Tustin. Before joining the company, he was vice president, U.S. distribution, network systems division within the Motorola Information Systems Group. He has also held field sales management positions at Hewlett-Packard and Harris Corp.

* Patrick Arrington has joined the Newport Beach office of Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP as a partner in the business and technology group. His practice will focus on providing counsel to emerging growth, information technology and software companies. Arrington was previously head of the corporate practice at Rutan & Tucker.

* John E. Koehler has joined the board of directors of Pinnacle Micro Inc. in Irvine. He is president of Koehler and Co. Inc., a consulting firm specializing in telecommunications. Koehler also serves as senior advisor to Rand Corp., focusing on development of commercial business markets.

* Robert Littlewood has been appointed senior vice president of Voxel, a Laguna Hills medical products company. He will direct the marketing, sales and distribution of the company’s Digital Holography System. He formerly held management positions with General Electric, Arthur Young & Co. and Caremark Inc.

* Mary Hale Johnston has been appointed California regional director of new products and processes for the University of Phoenix in Costa Mesa. She will plan, direct and coordinate its new Center for Professional Education. Johnston joined the university in 1992 as director of academic affairs and two years later became director of administration.

* Terry Hartman has been named vice president, land development for the Irvine Co.’s Irvine Community Builders group. He had been executive vice president of Van Dell and Associates, a civil engineering firm in Irvine. Before that, Hartman was manager and director, project engineering for Irvine Community Development Co. from 1986-89.

* David E. Barringer has joined Intermark Communications, an Irvine marketing company, as vice president and creative director. He was previously principal and vice president of Magnaghi/Barringer Inc. in Cape Coral, Fla., and before that, was vice president of Magnaghi/Barringer in Brattleboro, Vt.

* Robert G. Steen has been named vice president of the Insco/Dico Group in Irvine, a surety bond company. He is responsible for all accounting, actuarial analysis, budgeting and management reporting. Steen joined the company in 1989 as controller and three years later was appointed assistant vice president of accounting.

* Lou R. Ruiz has joined Quest Capital Strategies Inc., a Laguna Hills national securities broker-dealer, in the newly created position of executive vice president and director of compliance. He was formerly president of his own securities industry consulting firm.

* Edward A. Snell has been named president of Hunt-Wesson Inc., a Fullerton-based food producer. Snell has been president of Hunt Foods Co., a Hunt-Wesson company, for the past four years. Snell joined Hunt-Wesson in 1968 as a sales representative.

* Robert E. Martini and John H. Stafford have been elected directors of Mossimo Inc., an Irvine designer of men’s and women’s active wear and sportswear, increasing the board to four members. Martini is chairman and chief executive of Bergen Brunswig Corp., an Orange-based supplier of pharmaceuticals and medical-surgical products. Stafford is a retired partner of the accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick.

* Sandra L. Huseby has been named vice president, management division at Keystone Pacific Property Management Inc. in Newport Beach. She joined the company in 1986.

* Grace E. Emery is the new president-elect of California Women Lawyers. Emery has been a sole practitioner in Santa Ana since 1981, emphasizing employment discrimination.

* Dick Koeth has been appointed vice president of strategic planning for Meguiar’s Inc., an Irvine manufacturer of surface-care products. He had been a consultant to Meguiar’s and helped create and launch several new products and services. In addition, Rick Leizgold was named marketing manager of professional products. He will oversee the company’s Mirror Glaze product line for professional detailers and body shop operations. Leizgold was formerly automotive product manager for Molnlycke Inc.

* Charles Kanne has been named vice president of development for Orange County and the Inland Empire for Koll Real Estate Group in Newport Beach. Previously, Kanne operated his own development company specializing in industrial warehouse, distribution and manufacturing facilities. Before that, he was a vice president of development for SDC Development.

* Ron Kirkpatrick has been appointed marketing-communications director for the Orange County Business Council. He was formerly national group manager for Coors Brewing Co., handling public affairs in 19 western states.

* Loye Peternell has been appointed chief financial officer at Michael Brandman Associates, an Irvine environmental consulting firm. She had been controller at the company for two years. Cynthia Jones was named project manager of the resources management division. She had been project ecologist for four years. Daniel Bott has rejoined the company as senior planner-project manager. He had been consulting with another planning firm for four years. Also, Wendy Loeffler has been named wildlife biologist. Before joining the firm, she was a research assistant at Cal State Fullerton and a wildlife biology assistant with the Bureau of Land Management.
