Opponent--Vancouver Canucks.

Site--Pond of Anaheim.

Time--7:30.

TV--Prime Sports.

Radio--KEZY-FM (95.9)

Records--Ducks 1-8-2, Canucks 4-5-0.

Record vs. Canucks--(1995-96) 2-3.

Duck update--The team is in crisis after losing a club-record seven consecutive games, having scored only four goals over the last five. But Paul Kariya is scheduled to make his season debut after missing the first 11 games because of an abdominal injury, and the team is hoping for a boost from him. Mikhail Shtalenkov, who was in goal for the team’s only victory--a 2-0 shutout against Chicago on Oct. 9--will start, replacing Guy Hebert, who is 0-6-2 with a 4.23 goals-against average.

Canuck update--Vancouver is off to a so-so start under new Coach Tom Renney, the Canadian Olympic coach in 1994. The offense is averaging only 2.7 goals a game, despite the return of 60-goal-scorer Pavel Bure, who appeared in only 15 games last season before tearing a knee ligament.
