“We feel we came out and worked well tonight,” Priestley said. “A.J. [Castillo] had a strong game and we showed a lot of heart.”

Brethren Christian kickers Darren Janczak and Willie Costa each kicked a second-quarter field goal, giving the Warriors (4-3, 2-1 in league) a 13-0 lead at halftime. Janczak’s 43-yard field goal broke Steve Calhoun’s 10-year-old school record.

Warrior running back Daniel Muilenburg had a 14-yard touchdown run midway through the third quarter to increase the lead to 20-0.

The Warriors’ defense, led by Aaron Ireland and Rob Osterman, recorded four sacks and held the Heralds (0-8, 0-3) to 40 yards of total offense.
