Plenty of Time to Grow
Orange County resident Brian Goldfarb recently launched a new Internet search engine, calledEduROCK. The engine works like Yahoo! or most other search software. Users start at the https://www.edurock.com Web site, type in a subject and wait for a list of related Web sites to appear.
The engine specializes in locating educational and family-oriented Web sites. Those deemed particularly useful bear the EduROCK “seal of approval.” EduROCK is not nearly as comprehensive as the better-known search engines. A search for “Shakespeare,” for instance, produced just one match.
But EduROCK and its founder both have room to grow.
After all, Goldfarb is just a sophomore at Canyon High School in Anaheim.
