Richardson Starts on Right Foot This Year
Guard Pooh Richardson, who sat out the first 17 games last season because of a foot injury, has gotten off to a good start this season, averaging 14.5 points and six assists in two games.
Richardson had complained that Coach Bill Fitch didn’t use him in the fourth quarter of many games last season, and Saturday night against the Utah Jazz in the Sports Arena, Fitch used reserve Terry Dehere in the final period of a 95-90 loss.
Dehere made five of seven shots and had 11 points, two assists and one rebound in 13 minutes against the Jazz.
