Mossimo Adds Mattel Officer to Board

* Francesca Luzuriaga has been elected to the board of Mossimo Inc., an Irvine designer of men’s and women’s activewear and sportswear, increasing the number of directors to five. She is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Mattel Inc. in El Segundo. Luzuriaga joined Mattel in 1982 as a senior planning specialist and has since held several management positions, including vice president of financial planning, corporate controller and senior vice president and treasurer. She was executive vice president of finance before her appointment as chief financial officer.

* Roger P. Freeman has joined the law firm of Chevalier, Allen & Lichman as a partner in the Irvine office. He was previously in private practice in Irvine. The law firm specializes in aviation, environmental and commercial law and related litigation.

* Dennis Andrews has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Subscriber Computing Inc. in Irvine. Mark Nielsen, who had been president and chief executive, has been elected chairman of the board. Andrews will be responsible for all day-to-day operations, including research and development, sales and marketing, customer support and general execution of the company’s operating plan. Prior to joining the company, Andrews was president of XSOFT, a business division of Xerox Corp. that focused on the document-management market.

* Graham Jones has joined PLC Land Co. in Newport Beach as chief financial officer. He previously held management positions with Kenneth Leventhal & Co., the Baldwin Co., Gafcon Inc. and East-Lake Development Co. In addition, Daniel O’Bannon was named controller. He formerly held controller positions with the Baldwin Co., Zellner Communities and Inland Pacific Communities, as well as the accounting firm of Arthur Andersen & Co.
