Rescue Mission Seeks Volunteers for Project
The Orange County Rescue Mission is seeking volunteers to assemble personal care kits for the homeless.
Rescue Mission officials have collected personal hygiene items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo and lotion from corporate donors.Officials said they hope to distribute more than 1,000 care kits.
The second annual project will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in Irvine, at the Target store at Barranca Parkway and Culver Drive. Information: (714) 863-8299.
