Here are some of the Veterans Day ceremonies and activities across Orange County through Monday:

* Brea: Memory Garden Memorial Park, 455 W. Central Ave., will fly 970 American flags on the Avenue of the Flags from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday. North Orange County American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts will assist. Information: (714) 529-3961.

* Buena Park: A traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the “Moving Wall,” will be on display next to Knott’s Berry Farm’s Independence Hall, 8039 Beach Blvd. today through Nov. 17, free of charge. Knott’s is also honoring military personnel by offering free theme park admission through Nov. 17 to veterans and enlisted military personnel, their spouses and their children under 12. Military identification or proof of military service must be presented at the ticket booth. Additional tickets are offered at discounted prices. Information: (714) 220-5200.

* Cypress: Flags will be placed on graves today at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4471 Lincoln Ave. American Legion Cypress Post 295 and Cypress Boy Scout Troop 295 will assist.

* Fountain Valley: Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9557 is holding “Buddy Poppy” program, handing out poppies and accepting contributions through Monday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., to benefit disabled veterans. * Lake Forest: El Toro Memorial Park, 25751 Trabuco Road, will hold a Veterans Day Observance at 11 a.m. Monday, featuring music, speeches and a salute to veterans. The event is presented by various Orange County veterans groups, local chapters of Sons of the American Revolution and Daughters of the American Revolution and Orange County Cemetery District. * Newport Beach: Sons of the American Legion Newport Beach Post 291 host a free lunch in honor of veterans, from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday, at 215 15th St. on Balboa Peninsula. All veterans are invited. Information: (714) 673-5070.

* Placentia: The city will honor men and women who have served or are now serving in the military. The event, 10 a.m. Monday in Civic Center Courtyard, 401 E. Chapman Ave., will feature guest speaker Mike Canales, commander of American Legion Post 277. Also, new names on the Placentia Veterans Monument will be dedicated. * Santa Ana: Veterans Charities of Orange County will hold an open house and free breakfast Monday for veterans and their families at its headquarters, 201 S. Sullivan St., from 7 to 10:30 a.m. Information: (714) 547-0615.
