Nominations Sought for SBA Award: The Small Business Administration is seeking nominations for the 1997 Small Business Person of the Year. Business owners who have demonstrated employment growth, staying power, sales increases, innovation, community service and ability to overcome adversity are selected from each state. They compete for national recognition at a White House ceremony. Also honored yearly are small business advocates, exporters, young entrepreneurs, and federal government prime contractors and subcontractors.
