Tupac to the Top

Share

In death as in life, Tupac Shakur remains one of the most popular solo rappers in history. Recording under the pseudonym Makaveli, he’s back on top of The Times’ Southern California chart with the posthumous “The Don Killuminati: the 7 Day Theory.” The other notable debut is Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s “Mo Thugs: Family Scriptures,” a collaboration between the group and other Cleveland artists, including Tre, Graveyard Shift and Souljah Boy. Nate Dogg’s first solo single, “Never Leave Me Alone,” has moved to No. 1 in the Southland while jumping from No. 40 to No. 28 nationally.
