The Orange County Musicians’ Festival on Sunday will salute Si Zentner, who played trombone with Harry James and Jimmy Dorsey before scoring his own Top 40 hit (“Up a Lazy River”) in 1960. Proceeds go to scholarships and relief for needy local musicians.

Angel coaches selected by new Manager Terry Collins won’t seem like strangers to attentive fans. Dave Parker, who played for the Angels in 1991, will coach first base. Holdovers from last season include Rod Carew and former Manager Marcel Lachemann.
