HOLIDAY WEEKEND CLOSINGS

The following schedule will be in effect in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday:
* City, county and state offices will be closed today. City offices in San Clemente and Tustin also will be closed Monday.
* County, state and federal courts will be closed today, except for federal courts, which will be open for emergency filings only.
* City and county libraries will be closed today, with the exception of Newport Beach Central Library.
* Most banks and savings and loans will be open.
* Schools: There will be no classes today. School offices, including those at colleges and universities, also will be closed.
* Trash: Pickups normally scheduled for today will be a day late in most cities and unincorporated areas. Exceptions: In Anaheim, Brea, Garden Grove, Orange, Placentia and Yorba Linda, those with Thursday trash pickups should put their trash out today. Today’s pickups will run on regular schedule.
* Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on a regular schedule today.
