Sheriff’s deputies have released the identity of the man suspected of terrorizing four female motorists on a stretch of Los Angeles Avenue between Saticoy and Somis and on Las Posas Road in Camarillo on Thanksgiving night and early the next morning.

Silverio Ambriz, 31, of El Rio was arrested at his home Friday after one of his alleged victims reported his license plate number to authorities. The woman told detectives that she had been run off the road by the driver of a pickup truck the night before.

Ambriz is also accused of raping an 18-year-old woman Thursday evening after her car flipped over while he was chasing her. He is also accused of attempting to assault another woman after ramming her vehicle on Los Angeles Avenue. The incidents took place around Mesa School and Center School roads, north of the Las Posas Country Club.
