Teemu Selanne, who also had a nine-game streak earlier this season, has a five-game point streak (three goals, four assists). The Ducks are winless against the Eastern Conference this season (0-6-3).

Bruin update--All is not well in Boston. Rick Tocchet is angry at Coach Steve Kasper for benching him last week. Adam Oates and Bill Ranford want to be traded. Mike O’Connell, Bruin assistant general manager, told the Boston Globe that Ranford is not being shopped around. Steve Heinze, Boston’s leading scorer with 14 goals, has a strained hip that bothers him when he skates and shoots. The Bruins are 5-8-4 at home.
