Assailant Sought in Fatal Stabbing
Ventura police are searching for the assailant who fatally stabbed a 32-year-old man Monday afternoon on the city’s west end.
Kenny Wayne Beardsley of Ventura was found by police shortly before 2 p.m. lying on the living room floor of a residence in the 600 block of Sheridan Way with a stab wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead a short time later at Ventura County Medical Center.
Officials said they have no motive for the killing and no suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Ventura Police Sgt. Gary McCaskill at 339-4482.
