250,000 Turn Out for Anti-Milosevic Rally

About 250,000 people rallied in Belgrade against Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic in the largest of more than a month of daily protests for more democracy. Leaders of Milosevic’s Socialist Party had warned of possible police action against the protesters, but hundreds of thousands turned out anyway.
