Indigestible Prices?

Having just moved to Santa Cruz County, I was delighted to see the Weekend Escape article about Santa Cruz (“Forward to the Past,” Dec. 1).
But I was greatly surprised to see the cost of one meal for two people at India Joze restaurant listed as $83.15. I would be hard pressed to spend that much seeing that the entrees they ordered were about $9.95 each and the most expensive wine is maybe $20 a bottle.
I would hate to have people miss this most unusual and tasty place because they felt it was too expensive. The locals consider this a special place to eat--exciting food with good ambience at a very reasonable price.
