Khristich Continues to Haunt Oilers

Forward Dimitri Khristich continued his strong play against Edmonton on Monday by scoring his ninth goal of the season in the Kings’ 2-1 loss.

In 14 games against the Oilers, Khristich has seven goals and 15 points. This season, he has two goals and three assists in three games.

The Kings’ power play was zero for three against the Oilers and is one for 49 since Dec. 5.

Edmonton has lost Jason Arnott for at least four weeks because of a fractured left ankle. The center was hit by a Boris Mironov slapshot Friday night against Philadelphia.
