Stanford Faces UCLA, USC on the Road This Weekend
Third-ranked Stanford, 14-1 overall, 2-0 in the Pacific 10 Conference and gunning for its third consecutive women’s basketball conference championship and its third consecutive Final Four appearance, plays at UCLA (7-4, 1-1) tonight at 7:30 and at USC (8-3, 2-0) Sunday at 2 p.m.
Also tonight, Cal (5-6, 1-1) plays at USC, then will be at UCLA Sunday at 4 p.m.
Stanford, winner of 27 consecutive conference games, is led by 6-foot-2 senior All-American Kate Starbird, who scored 44 against USC a year ago.
