Saddleback Valley residents can beat the winter blues today at a daylong antidepression expo.
Aimed at older citizens, the sixth annual event will be held at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The daylong expo will feature free haircuts and manicures, handwriting analysis and demonstrations of aromatherapy, cosmetic make-overs and massage therapy.
“Sometimes after the holidays, people need a little pick-me-up,” said Renee Raff, city community services superintendent. “This is the kind of event that will help you feel your best.”
In the afternoon, a “beat the blues” workshop that deals with depression issues for the elderly and their caregivers will take place between 1 and 3 p.m.
The cost of attending the workshop is $3. Information: (714) 470-3062.
