Man, 50, Arrested in Drug Sale Probe
A 50-year-old man who allegedly sold methamphetamine to an undercover Simi Valley police officer was being held in County Jail on Friday night on four felony counts of sales of a controlled substance, authorities said.
Donald Lee Nottingham of Simi Valley was arrested about 3 a.m. Thursday on Tapo Canyon Road near the Ronald Reagan Freeway, according to Police Sgt. Fred James. The arrest ends a six-week investigation, James said.
Nottingham allegedly sold the agent one-half ounce of methamphetamine, and another eighth-ounce was seized from Nottingham’s car at the time of the arrest, according to James.
James said the drug had an estimated street value of $1,800.
Nottingham was being held in lieu of $20,000 bail, according to a jail spokeswoman.
