Failing Students

It was refreshing to see someone not blaming educators for education’s problems (Commentary, Jan. 29). The problem of failing students has no single cause, and no single solution. It is about time that we realize, as Carol Jago has, that one of the most daunting problems we face is kids who refuse to be taught or refuse to learn.
