Helping to build a new management team at the beleaguered suburban enclave, the former Sierra Madre planning director is scheduled to begin her new job as South Pasadena’s assistant city manager Monday.
Anne McIntosh left her post in Sierra Madre last month to join South Pasadena city manager and former Sierra Madre staffer Sean Joyce on the city’s staff.
McIntosh will replace Charles Conn, who resigned in August, shortly before pleading guilty in court to embezzling thousands of dollars from a public organization’s fund.
South Pasadena Mayor Dorothy Cohen said she hopes that the assistant city manager’s arrival will help the town get back on its feet.
