Discount Tickets on Sale for Fair
Discounted tickets for the Orange County Fair are on sale through June 27.
General admission for the July 11-27 carnival is $4 in advance and $6 at the door for those 13 to 54 years old. Senior prices--for those 55 and older--are $3 now instead of $5 during the fair. Prices for children 12 and under are $2 now and at the fair.
Carnival ride ticket books also are less expensive in advance: $10 rather than $18. One dollar of every book sold is donated to nonprofit organizations. The booklets also contain coupons that can be used at the event.
Businesses and organizations also can qualify for low group prices.
This summer’s fair is sporting a “We’re Going Tropical” theme--a salute to island foods, culture and clothing. Traditional county fair exhibits, games, rides, concerts and livestock also are returning.
