Two incumbents and five challengers vying for three seats on the City Council in the March 4 election will meet Tuesday night to discuss issues faced by the small city.
A candidates’ forum, moderated by Ellen Pangarliotas of the League of Women Voters, will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Las Virgenes Unified School District board room, 4111 Las Virgenes Road.
The candidates are Deputy Dist. Atty. James Bozajian, businessman Craig Cignarelli, media consultant Toby Keeler, attorney Robert Sibilia, Planning Commissioner Michael Tingus and incumbents Lesley Devine and Marvin Lopata.
Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions of the candidates as well as hear their campaign statements and views on the issues.
Sponsored by the Calabasas Chamber of Commerce, the forum will include an opening statement by each candidate, answers to audience questions and closing statements.
The entire forum, scheduled to run two hours, will be videotaped by Falcon Cable and broadcast on Calabasas City Channel 3 during the week before the election beginning Thursday.
