Tax sentence--An article Sunday incorrectly reported the sentence given to former Ojai resident Gunther Rolf Holler, who pleaded guilty to filing false U. S. tax returns. In addition to a 21-month prison sentence, Holler was sentenced to 12 months supervised release.

In the tax years 1990-93, Holler had gross receipts totaling more than $1.5 million but reported just $50,000, Cheng said.

After an investigation by the Oxnard office of the Internal Revenue Service, the 63-year-old Holler was arrested July 11 at the Salt Lake City Airport. He has been in custody at the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Jail since his arrest.

Holler could have spent 12 years in prison and paid $1 million in fines, Cheng said.

However, U.S. District Judge Tena Campbell imposed the reduced sentence and ordered Holler to serve 21 months supervised release, according to Cheng.

In addition to the restitution, Holler was ordered to pay a fine of $20,000, Cheng said.
