Hemmerle Is Named President, CEO of Johnny Rockets Group

* Glenn Hemmerle has been appointed president and chief executive of the Johnny Rockets Group Inc., an Irvine company that operates and franchises 82 restaurants. He had previously served as president and chief executive of Pearle Vision, Crown Books and the Athlete’s Foot Group Inc.

* Stefan Markowitz has been named president of MBK Homes Ltd. in Irvine, a division of MBK Real Estate Ltd. He had been senior vice president for the past three years. Before joining the company, Markowitz was president of the Irvine division of Barratt American.

* Karen Peterson, Robert Sullivan and Mary Stone have been named senior vice presidents of Southern California Bank in Anaheim. Peterson joined the bank in 1995 and is currently controller. Sullivan is a senior credit administrator, and Stone is responsible for branch administration.

* Kent W. Burrows has been appointed manager of Marine National Bank’s Orange-based central county office. Burrows, a vice president, formerly held the same position at the Irvine office.

* Vincent Nicosia has been named to the newly created position of director, distributor sales for NetSoft, an Irvine developer of PC-to-host connectivity. Most recently, Nicosia was vice president of marketing and channel sales for Castelle Inc. in Santa Clara.

* Kris Davis has been appointed vice president in charge of sales and client management at the Costa Mesa branch of Johnson & Higgins. He has more than nine years of experience with the insurance broker, as the property lines department manager, insurance brokerage services manager and insurance services department manager.

* Richard H. Robinson has joined Irvine Medical Center as chief executive. For the past eight years, he was chief executive for Doctors Hospital of Manteca.

* Nancy Kim Yun has been appointed division director of strategic management and business development for the Autonetics and Missile Systems division of Boeing North American Inc. in Anaheim. She succeeds Fred Sheldon, who was named division director for the Sensor Products business area. Yun was formerly manager of strategic management.

* James R. Voight will head the new Taxable Securities Group of O’Connor & Company Securities in Newport Beach. Voight, a senior vice president with the regional public finance firm, has more than 25 years experience in banking, securities and related industries.
