Clipper update--They’ve lost the first two games of a three-game, four-day trip and have dropped four of their last five. Rookie center Lorenzen Wright has averaged 13.5 points and 10 rebounds and has shot 60% in his last two games. Rodney Rogers had 20 points as the Clippers beat the Bucks, 102-94, on Nov. 17 at the Sports Arena.
Buck update--They’ve already matched last season’s win total and are in contention for their first playoff berth since 1991. Forward Vin Baker, who’s averaging 22 points, and Glenn Robinson (21) have scored 42% of the Bucks’ points this season. Baker, averaging a team-high 10.6 rebounds, is on pace to become the first Buck to average 20 points and 10 rebounds since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar averaged 30 points and 14 rebounds in 1974-75.
