Clipper update--Forward Rodney Rogers, who left Tuesday night’s game against Philadelphia in the second quarter because of a possible broken nose, did not accompany the team to Vancouver. The Clippers have won five of six games against the Grizzlies. Swingman Charles Outlaw has started two consecutive games at small forward in place of Rogers.
Grizzlies update--They have lost four in a row. Bryant Revees, their top draft pick last season, is the NBA’s third-highest scoring center in the month of February, averaging 21.9 points. Guard Shareef Abdur-Rahim, their top draft pick this season, is averaging 18.1 points. The Grizzlies have lost 12 of 15 games since General Manager Stu Jackson replaced Coach Brian Winters on Jan. 24.
