FBI Arrests Man in Bank Robbery
A Ventura man has been arrested by FBI agents on suspicion of robbing Ventura’s American Commercial Bank earlier this month, the FBI announced Wednesday.
Guy Eugene Daniel, 43, was arrested Tuesday at Ventura County Superior Court, where he was appearing on unrelated local charges, the FBI said.
According to the FBI, Daniel also is a suspect in three other bank robberies that occurred from December through February at the Bank of America on Telephone Road in Ventura, California Federal Bank in Camarillo and the American Savings Bank on S. Victoria Avenue in Ventura.
After his arrest, Daniel was taken before a U.S. magistrate, who ordered him held without bail.
Daniel’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 11. He is being held in Ventura County Jail.
