--Baltimore Oriole second baseman Roberto Alomar spit at an umpire and will serve a five-game suspension.

--The Bulls’ Dennis Rodman butted a referee and got six games.

--The Lakers’ Nick Van Exel gave a referee a forearm shove and got seven games.
