Making It Clear
* Re “10 Troubled Crossings,” Feb. 11:
I have an explanation for the traffic congestion at one of the intersections. The photograph showing the intersection of El Toro Road and Laguna Canyon Road shows a small red automobile northbound on Laguna Canyon Road.
The vehicle appears to be a Yugo, and, like all Yugos, it is undoubtedly stalled at the intersection. Thus this one car is responsible for most, if not all, of the congestion at the intersection. If Caltrans would remove this stalled Yugo, I believe that the congestion would immediately improve.
