Splash to Open on June 14 in San Diego

The Splash begins its 14-game home schedule against former coach Ian Fulton and ends the season against division rival San Diego, the Continental Indoor Soccer League announced Wednesday.

The Splash’s season begins June 14 at San Diego, and continues June 20 against Portland, now coached by Fulton, who directed the Splash last season to a 15-13 record. The season ends at the Pond Sept. 28.

The schedule includes four games against each Western Division opponent, including Arizona, which was inactive last year.

The schedule:

June 14--at San Diego; 20--Portland; 22--Seattle; 27--at Indiana; 28--at Detroit.

July 2--Washington; 11--at Seattle; 13--San Diego; 20--Seattle; 26--at Sacramento.

Aug. 7--at Seattle; 9--at Portland; 10--Arizona; 14--at San Diego; 16--at Dallas; 17--Houston; 20--at Portland; 23--Monterrey; 29--Sacramento; 30--at Arizona.

Sept. 5--Portland; 6--Dallas; 12--at Arizona; 14--Arizona; 19--Sacramento; 21--at Sacramento; 27--at San Diego; 28--San Diego.
