The two-hour world premiere of the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” series delivered the highest Monday numbers ever for WB. The new series exceeded WB’s previous high for the night by 16% in ratings and 14% in share. After nine weeks, ABC’s “Politically Incorrect With Bill Maher” outperformed “The Late Show With David Letterman” by an average 29% in the 17 major television markets where it airs live.
