Blount Retains Spot as Starter
Travis Knight lost his job as the starting power forward because of injury, but Corie Blount is keeping him from reclaiming it.
With Blount coming off one of the best games of his career--17 points and 15 rebounds Wednesday while holding Golden State’s talented Joe Smith to 12 points on five-of-21 shooting--Coach Del Harris said he will stick with the hot hand. So Knight, who lost his job when medication necessary to examine an eye injury made practice impossible the previous two days, may now have lost it for a while.
