The Kings’ Triple Crown line of Marcel Dionne, Charlie Simmer and Dave Taylor received the loudest fan ovation Saturday night for the final day of the team’s three-day 30th Anniversary weekend celebration.

Many former King players played against a celebrity team before the Kings played Calgary at the Forum and then were introduced between periods. Dionne, Simmer and Taylor were the first line in the NHL in which all three members scored 100 points in the same season. They did it in 1980-81.
