Time--7.

TV--None.

Radio--KEZY (95.9 FM)

Duck update--With eight games left, they are in sixth place in the Western Conference, a point ahead of Calgary and two ahead of St. Louis, which holds the eighth and final playoff spot. The Ducks are likely to be without injured star Teemu Selanne again tonight, the second of back-to-back games in the middle of a six-game trip that continues Friday at Chicago and Sunday at Detroit. They lost to Calgary, 3-2, on Tuesday in their first game without Selanne this season after he a pulled a muscle in his side during Sunday’s victory over Edmonton.

Canuck update--Things are bleak in Vancouver, with the Canucks all but eliminated from playoff contention and stars Pavel Bure and Trevor Linden out because of injuries. The Canucks have won only twice in 12 games--both times against Tampa Bay--and only six times in 25. Bure hasn’t played since March 3 because of whiplash symptoms from an early season hit. Linden is out indefinitely because of a rib strain, and goalie Kirk McLean has a broken finger.
