Right Start Inc. said it will cut back on its previous plans to open more than two dozen new stores.
The Westlake Village-based marketer of products for young children currently has 37 retail stores, plus a catalog sales operation. The company had planned to open 30 more stores in the 12 months that will end in January 1998.
The company now has four new store sites that it plans to open. But Right Start said it will hold off on any announcements of future store openings until later in its fiscal year.
